My name is Frank Vescio and I’m from Blaine, Minnesota.
For my flight training, I'm currently doing both private pilot labs. I've always been fascinated with aviation. From a young age, I loved going out to MSP and watching airplanes on the weekend with my family, and just enjoyed being at the airport in general when we'd travel. I also love going to the Duluth Airshow every year. I started flying at the Anoka County airport in Blaine and knew I wanted to make a career out of it.
I enjoy every aspect of flight training at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The airplanes and facilities at Mankato Regional and North Star Aviation are best-in-class, and the instructors are hard-working professionals that want to see you succeed and have fun while you're learning. I feel like a kid every time I get to be at the airport!
My goals after graduation are to fly for the military and the
airlines. I also think it'd be cool to fly for the DNR, Fish & Wildlife, or Forest Service because I'm an avid outdoorsman and have been hunting & fishing my whole life.
